Shakti in Murray & Vern latex dress on the escalator.

Model: Shakti

Photographers' note: This image was shot with the new Nikon D3 at 3200 ASA, with no noise reduction. The camera is absolutely amazing at high film speeds, with 3200 looking like 400 shot on a Nikon D2X.

And now, to stop whinging about you having a better camera than me (if only for a short while, before going back to your normal camera which is still probably better than mine), to comment on the photo.

I'm liking this one the most out of the three, I'm absolutely shuddering at the thought you did this in ambient light at 1/60. I'm loving the composition, only thing I can possibly gripe about is the blurring on Shakti's left leg.

Small gripe though, I'm in love with this photo. Wardrobe, model, composition, technical aspects.

Quality nice.

I read your journal, these shots look great! I don't know anything about cameras, but I know how hard it is to shoot under conditions like these... It takes a good photographer, but the camera helps, hehe ;P
I am sure gonna tip my bf/photographer about this new camera! ;)
And I actually like the blurring of her leg, it adds just enough movement in the photo... For my taste... :aww:

Sure enough, the d3's handiwork. Mind-boggling, just think of the new level of photography you'll be able to accomplish with it.

Wow. :O
